Fathers M.I.A Honorees

Every year  Fathers M.I.A. help provide scholarships through various donations within our community. Your donations help us provide scholarships to young deserving High School students. We understand that these young women may face adversities due to the fact that they are living in a one-parent household, with Fathers M.I.A. we would like to change the narrative one child at a time. We are here to show our support for our community by providing programs like etiquette classes and group therapy with a licensed psychologist. Every year we hold our annual “As We Honor Her” Spring Gala, where our young ladies are escorted by volunteer police officers who simulate a father-daughter dance. Due to the recent pandemic with the Coronavirus, we had to cancel our annual gala. But this year did stop us from financially supporting our Honorees with scholarships. This year we were able to give out 11 scholarships totaling $17, 500.00 , and many thanks to Damian A. Bradley CEO of Fort Plastics for partnering with us to make this a success during these times.
