The Fathers M.I.A. Youth Empowerment Program is dedicated to equipping young people with the tools they need to become confident, responsible, and proactive members of society. Our mission is to cultivate a sense of purpose, resilience, and social awareness in our participants, empowering them to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Targeting high school students in grades 9 through 12, this program offers practical training, mentorship, and resources to help young individuals define and achieve their personal and professional goals. Through engaging workshops and mentorship initiatives, we focus on building confidence, enhancing decision-making skills, and fostering a strong sense of responsibility. Additionally, we are committed to creating a collaborative environment that strengthens community ties. By facilitating connections among participants, we encourage the exchange of experiences and the development of lasting relationships.
While this Youth Empowerment Program shares similarities with the Fathers M.I.A. Spring Gala Scholarship Empowerment, which focuses specifically on youth experiencing fatherlessness, it is open to all young people, regardless of their background.
