"As We Honor Them" Spring Gala Scholarship

Every year Fathers M.I.A. help provide scholarships through various donations within our community. Your donations help us provide scholarships to young deserving High School students. We understand that these young women may face adversities due to the fact that they are living in a one parent household, with Fathers M.I.A. we would like to change the narrative one child at a time. We are here to show our support in our community by providing programs like etiquette classes and group therapy with a licensed psychologist. Every year we hold our annual “As We Honor Her” Spring Gala, where our young ladies are escorted by volunteer First Responders who simulates a father daughter dance, and our young men are escorted by their mothers.  Thank you, to all our Partners, Sponsors, and Donors we were able to give out 21 scholarships at our last Spring Gala totaling $31,000.00, which our top Scholarship was $5,000.00.

Proof of acceptance or current enrollment is required prior to funds being released to the college or university

I agree that Fathers M.I.A. and Sponsors may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.

We are moving fathers that are missing in action to motivated involved and active. Our organization believes that a house without a father is in a condemned state.
